What's Going On

Written by

Currently, we are doing bi-weekly recreation calendars as opposed to monthly calendars. With ever changing restrictions these bi-weekly calendars have been found to be more reliable and convinent for the residents to refer to.

Stay tuned!

Although partially funded through the Department of Health and Wellness, we also rely on your donations to go that extra mile for our residents. We are truly grateful for any and all donations as it helps us counteract the fact, we are an aging facility, and the needs and desires of our residents are always changing.

About Liverpool, Nova Scotia

We feel blessed to call Liverpool our home. Our lovely community, situated on the south shore of Nova Scotia on the Atlantic coast (about 75 minutes drive from Halifax), offers lots of culture, restaurants and cafes emphasizing local products, the historic Astor Theatre, affordable real estate, beautiful beaches nearby, and is just a short drive to Kejimkujik National Park, designated a National Historic Site of Canada. Liverpool is a cohesive community that often gathers together in celebration, and who time and time again demonstrate their commitment to keeping local attractions and historic sites alive and well.   It’s also a great community for families, with Queens Place Emera Centre, a modern recreation centre featuring an NHL-sized ice surface, serving as a focal point. Volunteer positions can have varying hours, depending on your level of commitment and how you wish to volunteer. All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and participate in an orientation session. We truly appreciate anything you can do to support our programs.
